    Julie Meyers named Regional Director, Integrated Quality Services for Central Valley Region

    MODESTO –November 5, 2009 – Julie Meyers has been appointed Regional Director, Integrated Quality Services, for Sutter Health’s Central Valley Region, which includes Memorial Hospital Los Banos, Memorial Medical Center, Sutter Gould Medical Foundation and Sutter Tracy Community Hospital.

    In her new role, Meyers will direct quality management, case management, and medical staff service functions (including risk management, infection control, case management, utilization review, referral and authorization, discharge planning, social services and chaplain services) across the Central Valley Region. Meyers will also be responsible for the total quality management/continuous quality improvement programs and regulatory compliance throughout the region.

    Meyers has more than 19 years of experience in quality management and has worked with physicians, staff and administrators to achieve organizational goals related to providing quality patient care. Most recently, she served as Memorial Medical Center’s director of quality and resource utilization for the past 12 years. She is a registered nurse, holds a master’s degree in leadership, and is a certified professional in health care quality, a designation bestowed by the National Association of Healthcare Quality.
