Cancer Survivors Invited to Participate in Memorial’s “Sounds of the Heart” Music Group
MODESTO – January 29, 2009 – Cancer Services of Memorial Medical Center invites local cancer survivors, their family members and their caregivers to join the “Sounds of the Heart” Music Group, part of Memorial’s program of complementary therapies that enhance the lives of patients as they proceed through their journeys of coping, recovering or healing after a diagnosis of cancer.
The Sounds of the Heart group will meet from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at The Point, 1235 M Street, Modesto, on the following dates:
February 2 • February 9 • March 2 • March 9 • March 16 • March 23 • March 30

Sounds of the Heart is a group which participants may join on a regular basis to explore their musical self-expression and benefit from a variety of musical activities such as listening and creating music to experience the comfort, excitement, emotion and energy that music evokes. Whether you are a music lover or a music maker, you are invited to participate in this exciting new group, led by Larry Bull.
