Promoting Wellness
In an effort to increase the health and wellness of our community, Memorial Medical Center provides a comprehensive schedule of health information and education programs and services for adults and children. Memorial's community benefits programs, health education classes, screenings and other wellness programs have the added benefit of containing the growth of the community's health care costs.
By participating in health fairs and sponsoring screenings, support groups and seminars, our staff is able to interact with members of the community which enables us to learn more about their health care needs. Memorial also supports the education of tomorrow's health care professionals by participating in partnerships with local educational organizations. Additionally, many members of our caring staff are involved in volunteer efforts to promote health and wellness throughout our community.
