- Blood Cancers Support Group

CLASSES
- Breastfeeding/Newborn Care Class
A certified lactation consultant provides information about breastfeeding, getting started and how to avoid breastfeeding difficulties. Register for this class by the seventh month of pregnancy. The fee is $20. For information or to register, please call 572-7262. - Childbirth Education
A five-week series of classes gives expectant parents the tools and knowledge to make the transition from pregnancy to parenthood. Breastfeeding instruction is included. Free. A three-week series beginning the first Thursday of every month. New and expectant dads can learn the ropes about baby care, infant behavior, baby illness, safety and childproofing techniques. - Lifesaving Skills for Infants and Children (Community)
An American Heart Association class for parents, grandparents or other adults caring for children who want to learn about accident prevention, CPR and how to relieve choking in infants and children. $15 per person, $25 per couple. To register, please call 548-7888. - SafeSitters Babysitting Class
