    Volunteers Make a Difference

Volunteers at Memorial enjoy making new friends, developing new interests, sharing their unique talents and experiencing personal fulfillment while they make a difference in our community. Volunteers are part of the “Memorial family” and are invited to participate in hospital-sponsored activities.

Since 1953, volunteers have helped Memorial Medical Center provide community based, not for profit health care services in Stanislaus County.

Memorial Medical Center’s Volunteers are a group of more than 200 men, women and Junior Volunteers who support local health care by donating nearly 30,000 hours of service each year. In 2010, the volunteers finished their 5 year commitment to Memorial Medical Center. With their last and final payment of $150,000 they had contributed a total of $1,000,000 to the North Tower expansion at Memorial Medical Center. Volunteers assist with clerical duties, provide information and assistance, and support to our vistors and guests and the GifTree gift shop.
