Introducing the da Vinci® Robotic Surgical System:
Delivering High-Tech Robotic-Assisted Surgery to Our Community
da Vinci® Robotic Surgical System
Funding Need: $100,000
Robotic-assisted procedures represent the latest development in minimally invasive surgical technology, providing surgeons with a precision tool that uses small incisions for both laparoscopy and regular open surgery techniques. This tool is especially effective for sensitive gynecology and urology conditions including uterine and prostate cancer.
Key improvements over earlier generations of this robotic system are its broader stereoscopic, 3-D imaging capabilities and precision-guided wrist movement control of surgical instruments. These are advantages for the surgical team that truly benefit patients.
You can help bring this amazing technology to Memorial Medical Center. By supporting Memorial Hospital Foundation’s campaign to raise $100,000 by the end of this year, we will receive $100,000 from a Sutter Health Matching Grant; doubling our efforts to fund this vital technology for patients in the Central Valley.
