Community donations made through Memorial Hospital Foundation have helped the Oncology and Radiation Oncology Departments provide patients with comfortable surroundings and state-of-the-art equipment. Donations from the Foundation's Living Oak Club funded the Radiation Oncology Treatment Room Entertainment System. This innovative design enables patients to watch or listen to their choice of high resolution DVD programs while receiving radiation therapy, making treatment a more comfortable and less stressful experience. Donations from the Living Oak Club have also been used to establish the Complementary Therapies Program.
