Memorial Medical Center’s Cancer Services Department believes that addressing the emotional needs of our patients undergoing treatment is an important component in the overall treatment plan. In addition to the treatment-based social workers, support groups are available for current and former cancer patients, as well as their families through Memorial Medical Center, the American Cancer Society and other community based organizations. Breast Cancer Support Group For women who have breast cancer. Provides a place to share concerns with others and to cope. Call 209-526-4500, Ext. 6505, to register for this free support group.
Lymphedema Education For cancer patients about to undergo surgery or radiation therapy, or who have post-treatment swelling. Free. For more information click on link at top of page or call 569-7789.
Recreational Opportunities for Cancer Kids (R.O.C.K.)
Free monthly activities for kids with cancer. R.O.C.K. kids' siblings and parents are also welcome to the events. Call 209-530-3600 for information.
Community Support Groups
