Team Challenge is a walking and running group that was formed as a result of the desire of many people in our community to become involved in Memorial Medical Center's Cancer Program to support cancer issues and cancer survivors.

Those whose lives have been touched by cancer have a story. The strength of our team and its members has been enhanced by the sharing of their lives and stories. Team Challenge gives the work- outs and races of its members special meaning.

“There were so many friendly people all out to be together as a team. Some were dealing with cancer treatments and looking for a healthy social outing, others there for the exercise, everyone there for their own reasons but the important thing was ... they were there. What I realized that day was that these people were out living life and I decided at that moment that I wanted to live life too!”

"If you ever get a second chance in life for something, you've got to go all the way."
