    The team welcomes runners and walkers of all abilities and all fitness goals. Participants can come to connect with others, give and receive support, and walk or run at their own pace. Members walk or run as a group once a week or can choose to follow a schedule and work out on their own, in between team work-outs.

    Support and specialized training are offered for those who choose to go for a brief walk around the track or down the trail or to challenge themselves even more by training to participate in organized races including distances of 5K, 10K, half marathon and even a full marathon.

    “When I joined Team Challenge, it was to honor my son Andrew’s memory by doing something I never thought possible, to run a marathon. But along my journey, I got to know the rest of our team and how their lives too had been touched by cancer. This is what drives and inspires me to train even harder. Team Challenge has truly been a blessing, given me purpose and an outlet to give back to the cancer community for which I am ever so grateful for.”
